Privacy Policy

1. Data collection
StopLaClope collects no personally identifiable data. The app runs entirely locally on your device. Your data (quit date, consumption, progress) is stored only on your iPhone and is never sent to our servers.
2. Data stored locally
The following information is stored locally on your device:
- Date and time you quit smoking
- Number of cigarettes smoked per day before quitting
- Price of a pack of cigarettes
- Badges and progress unlocked
- Premium subscription status
This data can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the app.
3. In-app purchases
In-app purchases (Premium subscription) are handled directly by Apple via the App Store. StopLaClope has no access to your payment information. Subscriptions are managed in your Apple ID account settings.
4. Notifications
If you allow notifications, they are used only to send you motivation reminders and congratulations when you unlock badges. No notification-related data is shared with third parties.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent or share any personal data with third parties. The app contains no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, and no data-collection SDKs.
6. Security
Since your data is stored only on your device, its security depends on the security of your iPhone (PIN code, Touch ID, Face ID). We recommend enabling your device lock.
7. Children
StopLaClope is intended for adult smokers who want to quit. The app is not intended for children under 17.
8. Changes
We reserve the right to change this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

10. Cookies and audience measurement (website)
The stoplaclope.app website, separate from the app, uses a single audience-measurement cookie (Google Analytics), and only if you accept it via the banner shown on your first visit. It helps us understand which pages are viewed so we can improve the site. Your IP address is anonymized before any processing, and the cookie's lifetime is capped at 13 months, in line with CNIL (the French data protection authority) recommendations.
Until you give your consent, no analytics cookie is set. You can change your mind at any time using the button at the bottom of this page.
11. Contact form (website)
The form on the Contact page collects your first name, email address, and the message you write. This information is transmitted via the email delivery service Resend, solely to reply to you, and is never used for marketing purposes or sold to a third party.
It is kept only for as long as needed to handle your request and follow up on the email conversation, with no other use beyond that exchange.
12. Your rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights over your personal data:
- Right of access: know what data we hold about you
- Right to rectification: correct inaccurate data
- Right to erasure: request deletion of your data
- Right to object, including to the use of analytics cookies
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at support@stoplaclope.app. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can also file a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
